Daredevil #181

Bullseye is in jail because Daredevil defeated him last time they fought. Bullseye is getting lots of very painful headaches and he needs pills to calm his headaches down. Bullseye is put in a private gym to workout because he is to dangerous to be around other prisoners. He is constantly working out trying to get better so he can kill the man without fear(Daredevil). While he is working out he gets another very painful headache he needs the guards to give him the pills and they do. After that he has time to go outside in the prison courtyard,just to get some sunlight and air. All the prisoners know who he is. They don't hang out around him except for one man. And that one man is the Punisher. Bullseye and the Punisher are aware of each other because they both work for the kingpin. The Punisher has been in jail for only 3 days. The Punisher explanes how the kingpin has a new assassin in place for Bullseye. Bullseye is frustrated that the kingpin wouldn't bail him out.

The prison brings in a doctor to try to help Bullseye with his headaches. He fakes he has one and the guard gives him a pill but he spits it out right in his eye. Grabs his gun and escapes while hundreds of guards are trying to stop him they call a copter but Bullseye just highjacks it and escapes with ease. He wants to show the kingpin that he should have never of hired that other assassin. He finds out who it is. It's Elektra. Bullseye and Elektra encounter each other and she has the upper hand at the beginning but  Bullseye gets one shot to kill her and he does. He sicks her knife right in her heart making her die slowly. Somehow she gets up and goes to Matt Murdock's(DD) house and he takes her to a hospital and they tell him that she has a hole in her heart.She's died.  Bullseye is undercover at the hospital to try to kill Matt because he thinks Matt is Daredevil!  Bullseye attempts to throw a knife at his head but Matt lifts his walking stick/billy club and blocks it.  Bullseye flees he tells the kingpin that he thinks Matt is Daredevil. The kingpin doesn't believe him.

 Bullseye goes to Matt's office at night with a gun and Matt is sitting at his table with his back turned to  Bullseye. Matt doesn't notice Bullseye because he is very focused on a case Bullseye points the gun to his head and, Daredevil tackles him from behind. The person at the desk was a dummy that looked like Matt. But Bullseye doesn't know that it was a dummy he thinks that Daredevil and Matt are different people know.  Bullseye decides to take the fight outside so he jumps on a ledge outside the window and gets to the roof. DD is following him. DD and Bullseye grab each other and Bullseye pushes DD off the roof. But he lands and keeps his balance on a phone wire. Bullseye jumps after him and loses his balance. DD grabs his arms saving him from falling. But Bullseye tries to stab his arm. DD lets go of  Bullseye and he hits the ground from 30 feet high breaking every bone in his body.

I give this comic a 9.5 out of 10 because of it's amazing battle scenes and the great great great story lines that I have ever read. 

Black Panther #9

The Black Panther is in a desert outside of Wakanda to bring back Nick Scarpa who is some sort of chief. The chief was passed out from the extreme heat in the desert, thats why the Black Panther came to bring him back. But know the Black Panther is getting really hot as well. The sun is right on him. He falls to the ground and looks up and he sees some sort of robot. Then he blacks out.

 Back in Wakanda, without the Black Panther(T'Challa the king of Wakanda) around things aren't going well. Jakarra is attacking Wakanda. Jakarra looks like a purple alien version of the Thing from the FF. Who will protect Wakanda without the Black Panther? The Waknada military? No the Black Musketeers. Thats right Black Musketeers will have to fight the mighty strong Jakarra. The Black Musketeers surprisingly defeat Jakarra with little injuries.Meanwhile in the administrative office, N'Gassi who governs in place of T'Challa. And N'Gassi is not sure how to stop Jakarra. Then the Black Musketeers show up and tell N'Gassi the great news that Jakarra is defeated.

 After the Black Panther passed out he awoken on a bed with all these strange people around him. He asks were the chief is and the respond. His in another room. After that T'Challa gets up and this guy is showing him around. He finds out they were shooting a movie thats why there were robots walking around. They were really just people in suits. While the director is explaining the movie shoot the Black Panther goes crazy he punches the guy at the control pannel and starts pressing all these buttons. Explosions are going off everywhere.At this point I wasn't too sure why the Black Panther was doing this. Maybe from the heat or maybe he thought that they were actually robots. Back in Waknada, Jakarra was put in a stone room laying down on a stone table.N'Gassi wants to kill him. But the Black Musketeers think that they should wait till the Black Panther comes and let him make the decision. So N'Gassi agrees. So they leave the room and close the doors. But Jakarra's powers awaken and so does he. He forgets everything and he escapes.

I give this comic a 7.5-10 because I wish they explained why The Black Panther went crazy. And The Artwork was not that impressive.

HERE IT IS!!!!!

Avengers #78

Captain America gets called in from the Avengers mansion. So he goes ahead. Walks into the mansion, and, BOOM! The Man Ape comes out of nowhere and takes Cap to the ground. Cap has no clue who or what this man is. The Man Ape isn't usually in New York City as he usually is in Wakanda. Man Ape is an enemy of the Black Panther. So Cap is trying to fight this unknown man. It is a difficult fight for Cap because he does not know what this guy is good at. The Man Ape gives Cap a hard punch to the face which pretty much knocks him out. Them Man Ape throws him off the Avengers mansion and thats when the other Avengers show up. As faster as possibly Quicksilver runs down the building and saves Cap from dying. But now Quicksilver is falling to. So Vision goes through the wall and catches them both saving the day. But they must go help Goliath and Scarlet Witch Out. Goliath gives Man Ape a nice blow but Man Ape has this litte dude called N'Gama and he throws a metal rod at Goliath. Which knocks him out. By then the other Avengers get back to the fight and thats when Man Ape and    N'Gama flee. But it's not over yet.Find out what happens in the next half of the story.

I'd give this an 8.5- 10. Because I enjoy seeing new villains that I have not seen before. Also because they storyline had a great build up and they did a good job of explaining who Man Ape is.

Sorry that I haven't posted a blog today. I was very busy with a huge art project. I will have a picture of it by 4-5. I might have another blog by then but well see.

A vs X Round 9

I know that I only do reviews for silverage comics but A vs X is such a good series that I thought I could give a short review. In this issue spiderman plays a huge role risking his life to save the other Avengers. He never gives up no matter how many time Colossus gives him a huge puch to the face.I thought that part of the comic was a bit unrealistic because he kepted on getting up and trying to knock him out even though his been hit like 20 times to the face. Anyway I found it funny how spiderman just says to Colossus and his sister that they should basically beat each other up.Because whowever wins will get more Phoenix power in them, thus making them more powerful. But they end up just taking it out of both of them making Cyclops more powerful and Emma Frost more powerful.Cyclops and Emma Frost are the only two x-men that have the Phoenix power in them so they must be really strong . I think Frost will play a big part in round 10. I give this an 8.5-10. Just a great comic in all areas. But I would like to point out the detail in the art. Especial in the action scenes. For example when Thor is getting beaten up by Colossus. Or when spidey is trying to defeat Colossus.

Avengers #161

The Avengers attacked by ant-man! Whats going on! Those were my first thoughts. Ant-man has lost his memory from a lab explosion. So he forgets he is an Avenger and he starts attacking them. He does a pretty good job of throwing the Avengers off guard. There battling and then Wasp uses her stinging power to make ant-man go unconscious. Then the Avengers find out why he was attacking them and what had happened to him. So to restore his memory Wasp  goes to their house and grabs some pictures to help ant-man remember. But on her way back to the Avengers' mansion Ultron shows up out of nowhere and captures Wasp. The Beast who drove Wasp to her house was beaten up but got back to the Avengers mansion and told them what happened. Then Ultron goes to the mansion and they start a battle.


I'd give this a 8-10 because I would have like to seen the battle between Ultron and the Avengers for a bit longer. At the same time I did enjoy the artwork because of the use of different colours and shades. I also would have like to seen Wasp trying to fight Ultron. But overall a solid storyline and comic.

Avengers #116

Avengers vs Defenders! This is such a great match up. Avengers vs Defenders for the evil eye that can destroy the entire world. Wow! What a spectacular story line.The evil eye is a flashlight that is extremely powerful. The Avengers have been warned by Loki that there is such a thing out there that can destroy the world and the defenders are trying to get it and return it to this guy in outer space. The outer space guy didn't mention that the evil eye could do such a thing.So Cap sent Avengers to go around the world to find it and the human torch found it . But on his way back to the Avengers Maison a man in India had shot the evil eye with a special gun that broke it into six pieces and spread those six pieces all around the world.So in this issue the Silver Surfer faces off with Vision for 1 of the 6 evil eyes. When I first got this I thought to myself, how could Vision even stand a chance against the Silver Surfer. And I was right. The Silver Sky-Rider had won the evil eye over vision. This is a series so the Avengers still have a chance to gain the other 5.  I gave this comic a 7.5-10. The art work could have been better and they could have made the battle between Vision and the Silver Surfer more intense.

Silver Surfer #15

I should start off by telling you that the Silver Surfer is my favourite Marvel character. And this read made me enjoy him even more. Anyway Silver Surfer #15. The Human Torch is a great match up for the Silver sky-rider. The battle starts because the FF want the Silver Surfer for a outer space mission. But since  humans think that the Silver Surfer is a killer. It is so difficult for the Surfer to trust the FF so the FF try to chase after him but the stand no chance. Except for The Human Torch. He is the only FF that can keep up with the Silver Streak.

This read is fantastic. It grabs your attention right from the very beginning. I give this comic an 9-10. Why a 9? The action scenes,the artwork, the storyline, and of courses the characters. On that note I'm out. I will have a new review today or tomorrow.
